In an article in “Time Magazine”, Bard’s president called
the SAT exam “part hoax” and “part fraud”.
It should come as no surprise then that Bard does not require
standardized testing for admission. In
fact, applicants may “simply” write an online essay that the admissions office
views as B+ or higher and, bingo – they get accepted to the college. And, once admitted, students may spend part
or all of their first year in Berlin.
